بلاؤں گا نہ ملوں گا نہ خط لکھوں گا تجھے

تیری خوشی کے لیے خود کو ہی سزا دوں گا

ہو بھی سکتا ہے یہ سفر آخری ہو میرا

یہ بھی ہو سکتا پھر دیکھ نہ پاؤ ہم کو!

اک لفظ محبت تھا اک لفظ جدائ تھا

اک وہ لے گیا

اک مجھے دے گیا

اداس ہوں پر تجھ سے ناراض نہیں..

تیرے دل میں ہوں.. پر تیرے پاس نہیں

جھوٹ کہوں تو سب کچھ ہے مہرے پاس

سچ کہوں تو تیرے سوا کچھ بھی نہیں

بھٹکے ہو ے مسافر کا بسیرا بن گیا..

میری اندھیری راتوں کا تو سویرا بن گیا..

میری زندگی میں آیا ہے تو کچھ اس طرح..

جیسے قبر میں پڑی لاش کو سانسوں کا سہارا مل گیا

اتنا قریب آگیا تھا وہ.

مجھے لگا جیسے میرا ہی ہے

وہ مرے دکھ کی تلافی کے لیے آیا تھا

اس کو باتوں میں لگا کر میں بہت رویا ہوں

یہ کیا کہ مر کے ہمیں زندگی ملے گی 

ہمارے ورثے میں تو کچھ بھی نہیں

سو ہم بے موسمی وفات کا دکھ چھوڑ جائیں گے

وجہ نہ ہو خوشی کی تو بھی مسکرا نا پڑتا ہے..

دیکھنے کے لیے اپنے کے چہروں پر خوشی.. 

اپنا ہی درد چھپانا پڑتا ہے.
